This book is a collection of articles written by the undersigned and published in “The Statesman”, an English daily and in the “Bulletin of the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture”. The articles articulated the issues concerning welfare of the society. They included social issues which adversely impacted the workers and other categories of service providers during Covid-19 Pandemic period; analysis of Union Budget, status of manufacturing industries in India; social loss owing to water and air pollution, waterborne diseases; concern for nature and the concept of spirituality, the most effective steps required to be adopted for social change.
The readers would get an insight on such important matters that are fulcrum for transformation of a human society from a state overpowered by evil design to a state governed by the concept of welfare of the society.
